Scene I- Pawtucket Central Square[]
(Theme music plays, pets are going about their daily business; camera view focuses on a limousine parked outside of Littlest Pet Shop)
Scene II- Edie's Limousine[]
(Rear window, passenger side, is open; Edie is looking outside, a look of excitement upon her face- she gasps in joy, closing the window as the limo moves into the wilderness at a considerable pace)
Bev: Thanks for putting the road trip together and inviting every-pet, Edie!
Edie: Thank you pets for coming! It means a lot to me that you want to see my favorite musical! Hey, Cheeks- I don't want to be late; can you step on it?
Cheeks: You got it, Ms. von Keet! (Grabs a speaker system) you heard her, boys- time to kick it into high gear; put your heels to the wheels!
Roxie: Hah! This is great; I've gotta stick my head out the window! (Roxie does, but a brief groan of pain occurs, along with a jostling of the limo) huh?
(The limo gives a sudden lurch, shaking the screen slightly)
Cheeks: Sit tight, every-pet- I'll check on the problem.
Edie: Everything's fine- just a minor blip. We'll back on the move in no time... (Tone suddenly becomes frantic) Unless I've ruined everyone's Saturday and no one will ever want to be my friend again! (Camera view goes through Edie's point of view; all the other pets look completely unimpressed. Edie's tone is now awkward) I've got to get a grip on my mood swings.
Cheeks: Good news, I know what the problem is.
Edie: Oh, good.
Cheeks: Bad news- it's not good news.
Scene III- Pawtucket Wilderness[]
(Limousine has stopped moving) Cheeks: Hubcap, the hamster in wheel #3, has a bad leg cramp!
(Hubcap is sitting, clearly in pain as the other hamsters tend to his needs; one is fanning him, another is trying to fix up his leg and a third is looking down at him, concerned)
Hubcap: Oh, sweet pain!
Roxie: Oh, no! Is he gonna be okay?
Scene IV- Forest Clearing[]
Edie: Oh, we'll never make it in time! The day is ruined! I'm sure everyone is furious with me and you'll never trust me again! I'm gonna go check on Hubcap's injury... while I tend to the injuries in my soul.
Hubcap: I may never walk again!
Hubcap: Sorry, Edie- I'm no hero.
Bev: Hmm... speaking of heroes, it's time to tell a story about them! Gather around, everypet! (The other pets circle around a rock that Bev has clambered upon) (holding a stick, displaying it to the other pets present) this is the Story Stick. Whoever holds it is the storyteller. I'm holding it, so I'll start the story."
Edie: Thanks, Bev, I appreciate the idea, but I don't think I- (Bev interrupts her, accidentally shoving her off the rock)
Scene V- Story World, Kingdom of Cushion Queen Jade[]
Bev: Once upon a time, in a far-off pet kingdom, there was a knight.
(Story world features Bev as a knight, arriving at a castle sitting on a high pillar of stone, during the night)
Bev: Not the "it's a dark outside night", but a "brave knight".
Knight Bev: Hail; I am Bev, the Knight in Shining Shell! First of my name, I roam the country side, doing good deeds. I carry the flag of the Cushion Queen and pledge my loyalty to her.
(The drawbridge of the castle opens, falling upon Story Bev; after some struggling, she gets out)
Bev: The knight gallantly crawled out from under the very heavy bridge.
Scene VI- Forest Clearing[]
Bev: Okay, who's next? Jade?
Jade: (catches the stick)Eh, why not? Now, it gets exciting as we meet the Cushion Queen.
Scene VII- Story World, Kingdom of Cushion Queen Jade[]
Jade: The Cushion Queen is very wise. And it is very wise for her to nap as much as possible.
Story Bev: Can I do any good deeds for you, Cushion Queen?
Story Jade: Yes- leave me to nap in peace.
Jade: And the queen napped in peace, happily ever after. The End.
Scene VIII- Forest Clearing[]
Jade: Nap time! (Jade chucks the Story Stick off-screen; Roxie, excited, rushes after it)
Bev: Quincy, it feels like this story could use a damsel in distress, don't you think?
Scene XI- Story World, Kingdom of Cushion Queen Jade[]
Quincy: Great idea! All of a sudden... (Roars) Quincy the Goat Dragon flies over the castle, breathing fire in the sky!
(The Cushion Queen wakes up, worried; the Goat Dragon lands in the courtyard, gaining the attentions of all figures present)
Story Quincy: roars Cushion Queen! I have imprisoned the beautiful and talented Princess Edie, your dearest friend in the realm!
(Brief cutaway to the dragon's lair; Princess Edie is stuck in a cage hanging above the Goat Dragon's hoard of treasure)
Scene X- Forest Clearing[]
Quincy: Oh, I just pictured a goat dragon- it turns out, it's pretty scary.
Scene XI- Story World, Kingdom of Cushion Queen Jade[]
Roxie: In this kingdom, there lives a sorceress of light or dark. Is she good, is she evil? No one knows! And she had a vision of Princess Edie in the Goat Dragon's cave.
Story Bev: She's in the cave?! Then I shall do a good deed and rescue her!
Story Jade: Sorceress, can you use your magic to help save Princess Edie? ...or whatever.
Story Roxie: (Tone switches between both her light and dark personalities- she starts with light on this part) Will I? Or won't I?! Am I good? Or am I evil?!
Trip: (Speaking outside the story; tone is annoyed) pick one already! It's my turn!
Story Roxie: I pick light!
Scene XII- Forest Clearing[]
Trip: Sorceress L.A.D. used her powers to summon the greatest hero the known universe had ever known...
Scene XIII- Story World, Kingdom of Cushion Queen Jade[]
Trip: ...the Outer Space Cowboy Ninja Troubadour.
Story Trip: Howdy, everyone! I figured you could use the help of someone with the stealth of a ninja, the bravery of a cowboy and the eye-catching musical skill of a troubadour.
Scene XIV- Forest Clearing[]
Bev: Let's speed it up!
Scene XV- Story World, Goat Dragon's Lair[]
Bev: The Knight in Shining Shell knew she was the rightful savior of Princess Edie.
Story Bev: Stand aside, wrym, for I am-
Story Quincy: (Interrupting Story Bev) yeah, I know who you are- but nothing scares the Goat Dragon!
(The Goat Dragon breathes fire, reducing the Knight's shield to molten slag)
(Story Quincy arrives to back up Story Bev)
Story Quincy: It's outerspace, ninja Trip-a-dor time!
Story Jade: And now, the Cushion Queen has come to fight!
Story Roxie: And the Sorceress Light or Dark, as well! Together, they attack- ha ha!
Scene XVI- Forest Clearing[]
Cheeks: (excited) Ooh, what happens next? Did the robot hamsters arrive to save the day? (Awkward silence) ...just a pinch.
Edie: What does happen next?
Scene XVII- Story World, Goat Dragon's Lair[]
Story Bev: How-now, Princess Edie? How fares my lady?
Story Edie: I fear that, alas, my day shall never be spent out of this cage!
Roxie: Luckily, the Cushion Queen, Jade the Wise, had a plan!
Story Jade: (confused by Roxie) I did? (clears throat, restoring her royal accent) I do! We must work together! Together, we can triumph over any obstacle!
Edie: My turn!
Edie: Even the robot hamsters arrived! So he couldn't escape.
(A trio of robot hamsters roll up, surrounding the dragon)
Cheeks: Robot hamsters; yes!
Scene XVIII- Forest Clearing[]
Edie: Together, they freed Princess Edie from the cave. She curtsied and they all danced in celebration!
Scene XIX- Story World, Goat Dragon's Lair[]
(Princess Edie's cage is lowered; she is released from her imprisonment)
Scene XX- Story World, Goat Dragon's Lair (Interior)[]
(Princess Edie is lowered from her cage; the lock on the door is shattered by Bev's sword)
Edie: She curtsied in thanks and they all danced in celebration!
Scene XXI- Forest Clearing, Nighttime[]
(Cut back to reality; everyone is dancing for real, and the sun is setting)
Cheeks: Everyone! The limo is working again; Hubcap is back in the saddle!
Scene XXII- Limousine Interior[]
Edie: My plan is saved! Musical rapture, here we come!
Scene XXIII- Forest Stage[]
(The crowd present is cheering, curtain closes as the show ends)
Quincy: (Tone is dejected) The show's over. We just missed it.
(Edie frowns, flying off-screen, stage right; her friends look concerned and follow her)
Scene XXIV- Limousine Interior[]
(Edie is downcast, dejected with the outcome of today's adventure)
Edie: I'm sorry, every-pet. I did a terrible job planning... and we came all this way for nothing.
Roxie: We didn't come all this way for nothing. Our story was WAY better than seeing some musical! This was an EPIC Saturday!
Jade: Eh, it was fine.
Edie: It was pretty great... I did a great job! Hey, Cheeks!
Cheeks: I know, Ms. von Keet- "heels to the wheels".
Edie: No, tell Hubcap to take it easy; we need time to tell our sequel! "The Princess Edie Chronicles: Revenge of the Goat Dragon!" Some-pet- pass me the story stick!
(Someone throws the stick to Edie)
Edie: Once upon a time...
(Circle closing transition as the episode ends)
